I would like to formally introduce myself to those that don’t know me. I am a fourth generation Mason, raised in Queen City Lodge #559 at the one day class in 2007. I have been very active in Masonry since my raising and have served as Senior Steward in 2008-2009, Senior Deacon in 2009-2010, Junior Warden in 2010-2011, Worshipful Master from 2011-2014, Senior Warden in 2014-2015 in Queen City. Following the merger with Delhi Hills #775 I jumped right in and served as Senior Deacon in 2015-2016 and as Lodge Education Officer for 2016-2017. I am also a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati and Price Hill Royal Arch Masons #164 as well as serving this year as Chaplain of the Society of Past Masters.
I am looking forward to my year as Master, along with our normal fund raising and volunteer work, I am going to be actively be going obtain several awards this year. I cannot do this alone as it will be a united lodge effort. Three awards we will be pursuing are the Grand Masters Award, Grand Masters Education Award, and the FMDOA presidents award. We were one of 4 lodges in our district to receive the Grand Masters Education Award last year and I am confident in the leadership role the Brother Mark Taylor has taken in becoming our new LEO. We have not received the GM’s or Presidents award in several years.
Reminder that we meet on the second Monday of the month except July and August. FMDOA meets on the third Monday except June thru August. Our very own WB Marty Paff is the current President of the FMDOA and I’m sure would appreciate the lodges support at their meetings.
If there is anything I can do for you please do not hesitate to contact me.
